How to Change Hotmail Password

1. Open your Web Browser and Sign In to your Hotmail Account.
2. Click on the Right-Top corner of your browser screen and “Click on Your Picture” and then “Click on View Account”.
3. Click on “Change Password”.
4. Verify your identity and put the code you get in the alternate email address.
5. Enter your Current Password. and then the New Password.
6. Click on “Save”.

How To Change Hotmail/Outlook Password with Image Reference

If you want to change New Hotmail/Outlook Password you can follow these Steps.

Step 1: Open your “Web Browser”.

Step 2: Type “Hotmail.com” this link or click Here.

Step 3: “Sign in” to your Hotmail account.

Step 1 To Change Hotmail Password is Sign in to your Hotmail Account

Step 4: Once you have logged in to your Hotmail account you can click on your “Profile picture” on the right-hand side corner of your window.

Step 2 To Change Hotmail Password is Click on Settings

Step 5: Once you click on your profile picture there will be Three options 1. Edit Profile 2. View Account 3. Sign Out. You will need to click on “View Account”

Step 6: When you click on View Account then the new page will open which contains your account information. You can Scroll Down a bit until you see “Security” Box and click on Update.

Step 7: When you click on Update Under the Security, You will see Three Boxes Name  | 1. Change your password. | 2. Update your security info. | 3. Review recent activity. You can Click on “Change your Password”.

Step 8: After clicking on Change Password in the previous Step, Now Hotmail will ask you to Re-Enter your Password please Re-Enter your password and click on “Sign in”.

Step 9: Now If you have created a Hotmail account without giving any Phone Number or Alternate Email Address it will ask you to provide a Phone Number or Email address. If you have provided the Phone number they will send you a confirmation code to your phone number or you can select a Phone call on given number for verification code or select a Text message.

If you don’t want to add your phone number and want to add the Email address you can add email address by clicking On a Phone Number below “What security info would you like to add?” Heading

and select “An alternate Email Address” you need to provide an alternate email address for this.

Once the account’s Alternate email Address is confirmed via Call, Sms, Or Email Now they will Send you a Code for Password Change you can Enter your Code and Click on Next.

Step 9 To Change Hotmail Password is to add your security info

Step 10: Once you have successfully entered the verification code which you gets on your phone or email and click next then a page will open where you will need to put the “Current password” of your Hotmail account then enter a new password you want to set in “New Password” Field then “Re-Enter a New Password” and click on Save.
