Outlook.com, in the past Hotmail, gets off the air and leaves clients without email

The Outlook .com, old Hotmail , has been down for many users of the e-mail service Microsoft , including Brazilians. On Wednesday (14), webmail displayed the following message: "We have an email access problem, you may not be able to see all your email messages." The new Outlook.com replaced Hotmail in February this year. Other services like People and Skydrive also go through technical problems.

In the service status blog, Outlook.com confirms that there is a login problem that occurred from the start page. And, if you are experiencing another type of problem, Microsoft suggests contacting us using the " Report a problem " tool in webmail. In People, instability has affected changes in the address book and contacts. Already on Skydrive, Microsoft reported that the technical difficulties would be temporary.

Both programs (People and SkyDrive) returned to normal operation late in the afternoon. Outlook.com also had the issue fixed, except for those who use the service via mobile.

Microsoft's press office in Brazil informed TechTudo that the service is being normalized gradually and that some users are already able to access the email.

"Microsoft is investigating a problem that affects a small number of Outlook.com customers. We are working to restore full access to the service as quickly as possible," the company said, without giving the reason for the instability.
